On Tuesday 5th March a group of 16 clients from First Base Day Centre visited the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.
The First Base building, St Stephen’s Hall was once the chapel to the Royal Pavilion, and was connected by a passage way from the table decker’s room.
BHT Heritage visits the Royal Pavilion twice a year as part of our programme of events for BHT client involvement.
For many clients it was the first time they had ever been inside this famous Brighton landmark. Here’s what they had to say:
I learnt new things about our heritage and the connection to St Stephen’s Hall.

The visit was genuinely eye-opening, absolutely fascinating, and I want to go a few more times now. Very well worth doing.
